Our ICU team stabilises the patient first, then works through a structured plan — continuous monitoring, targeted investigations and organ-specific support — while keeping families informed and involved at every stage, adjusting care as the patient's condition improves.

A rapid, structured approach to caring for critically ill patients, from the first minutes of admission through to a safe transition out of intensive care.
On arrival, our team quickly assesses breathing, circulation and level of consciousness to identify how critical the patient's condition is and begin immediate stabilisation.
A structured emergency assessment identifies the most urgent threats first, so life-saving action can begin within minutes of arrival.
Once stabilised, the patient is connected to continuous monitors and undergoes targeted investigations to pinpoint the exact cause and extent of the critical illness.
Heart rate, oxygen levels, blood pressure and other vitals are tracked continuously, alongside lab and imaging tests, to guide precise treatment decisions.
Based on the diagnosis, our intensivists deliver targeted treatment — ventilation, medications, or organ-specific support — adjusting the plan continuously as the patient responds.
Treatment is fine-tuned around the clock based on how the patient is responding, with the full ICU team reviewing progress at every shift.
As the patient stabilises, care shifts toward recovery, nutrition and rehabilitation planning, with families guided through a safe transition to the regular ward.
Once critical risk has passed, the team plans the next stage of care and keeps families informed and prepared for what comes after the ICU.

Critical Care Services, delivered in our Intensive Care Unit (ICU), provide continuous monitoring, advanced life support and round-the-clock care from a dedicated critical care team for patients who are critically ill or severely injured.
Patients are admitted to the ICU for conditions such as severe breathing difficulty, sepsis or septic shock, neurological emergencies, cardiac emergencies, major trauma, post-surgical recovery, or failure of one or more organ systems.
A dedicated team of intensivists, trained critical care nursing staff and support specialists monitor and manage the patient around the clock, adjusting treatment as the patient's condition changes.
We understand how stressful critical illness is for families, so relatives are kept closely involved and updated, with visiting arrangements that balance the patient's medical needs with family presence.
The ICU uses continuous cardiac and respiratory monitoring, ventilators and advanced airway support, infusion pumps and other life-support equipment suited to each patient's condition.
Length of stay depends entirely on the condition and how the patient responds to treatment. Some patients are stabilised within a day or two, while others with more complex needs require a longer, closely monitored stay before stepping down to a regular ward.
